VOLUNTEER
Volunteering at a HYP event is a great way to meet people in a casual setting. Volunteers can sign up for a variety of stations, depending on the type of event, and usually work in one-hour shifts.

Typical assignments include greeting attendees, making nametags, collecting entrance fees, recruiting new members, set-up and clean-up, and serving beverages. A volunteer also gets in FREE at the event he or she is working!

To volunteer, send an email to volunteer@getHYP.net requesting to have your name added to the volunteer distribution list. Every time an event takes place that requires volunteers, the event chair will send out a form. At that point, you have the opportunity to sign up for available slots. Whether you can volunteer once a month or once a year, HYP always appreciates the support!

JOIN A COUNCIL
Do you have great ideas about future potential HYP events? Are you website savvy? Do you have connections with a variety of non-profit organizations in town?

If so, HYP needs your help! All HYP committees are eager to welcome new members who can contribute fresh, new ideas to the group. If you don't have much experience in a particular HYP volunteer area but would like to learn more, HYP is a great place to develop new skills. We welcome anyone with a good work ethic who has a desire to work towards HYP's goals. Many of our strongest committee members have become board members after demonstrating their level of commitment to the HYP mission.
